Undergraduate Honors Thesis
The undergraduate (or senior) honors thesis is an independent research project in which a student is dedicated to undertaking two-semesters and six credits worth of time, cumulating in a high quality academic paper. Prior to such a commitment, the student must be in collaboration with a faculty member they find matches their research interest.
Students involved in the PIVOT Lab while pursuing their thesis should demonstrate a strong work ethic when conducting research assistant duties, and a passionate inquisitiveness for the questions provoked along the way.
If interested in an undergraduate honors thesis, see the general recommended timeline for senior thesis students. For Psychology students specifically, see the recommended timeline for a more targeted approach to the senior thesis.
